PRESS RELEASE

Cross-Store Summer Sale

ShinyLoot, FireFlower Games, Gameolith offer full library at 25% off plus free credits after purchase

Three online stores have banded together to create a unique spin on the popular summer sales. ShinyLoot, FireFlower Games, and Gameolith are overstepping competitor lines to bring together the Cross-Store Summer Sale. Each of the four stores is putting their entire inventory on sale for 25% off. Even more exciting is the opportunity to earn up to 20% of the total purchase price in free credits to one of the other stores. All customers who purchase a game from one of the four participating stores during the Cross-Store Summer Sale will receive $1 in free credits (or equivalent value) for every $5 spent, up to a maximum of $5 in free credits. These credits will be for one of the other participating stores, to encourage a look at the unique features that each brings to the marketplace.

ShinyLoot opened its doors for beta earlier this year and is nearing a soon to be announced public launch. ShinyLoot offers PC/Mac/Linux games with minimal to no DRM (with bonus Steam keys for some titles), game search by individual features, a download manager, worldwide same pricing, and a commitment to indie games. Their goal is to help gamers discover indie games that are most relevant to them through their trait and filter features.

FireFlower Games launched towards the end of 2012. FireFlower Games offers DRM-free titles for Windows, Mac and Linux, sells primarily independently developed games, promotes crowdfunding for indie devs, and has pledged to donate half of their annual profits to projects that benefit the environment and game developers. Their goal is to create a platform that not only sells games but gives back to the community.

Gameolith launched in 2011, originally as a Linux distributor. Since then, Gameolith has moved on to supporting not only PC, Mac, and Linux but Android as well with a combination of both DRM-free games and Steam keys. Their goal is to promote cross-platform gaming and to give back to their customers and the wider gaming community, by providing services and rewards for customers and developers alike.

The sale will last through August 4. Discounts will be applied at checkout for ShinyLoot, with Gameolith by using the coupon code “GOTWENTYFIVE”, and on individual titles for FireFlower Games.
