Loadout (PC) Up For Early Access On Steam, Does It Get Billions Of Guns Right?

Loadout (PC) Up For Early Access On Steam, Does It Get Billions Of Guns Right?

Loadout is a free to play game up for early access on Steam. Why would you pay for free for loot, spacebux, xp and early access of course. Here’s what has me itching to send some dollars to Loadout developer Edge of Reality, they might have out done Borderlands billions of guns idea. Sacrilege, I know but hear me out.

So in Borderlands you got guns but you only got what was given to you or dropped by enemies however I always wondered why Marcus couldn’t make you a new gun out of parts from a pile of crappy guns. Loadout lets you customize all the parts of your gun, stock, chassis, barrel, bullets, etc. Adding up all the crazy combos looks like it could yield combos that are just as insane as the ones found in the land of borders only this time you’re in control to make the gun feel just how you want.

So yes this third person shooter might not have the land of Pandora or the story of the vault hunters but Loadout has the crazy customization gun hook and over the top gore I’ve been looking for. To get in the closed beta right now you can throw out $19.99 for the Pain Bringer Pack, $39.99 for the Absolute Badass Pack or big baller’s can throw in $89.99 for the Founder’s Pack each with increasingly more digital goodies. Head past the jump to see Loadout in action and check out the press release if you’re curious on the nitty gritty of digital loot you’ll receive should you pony up some funds.

Ride To Hell: Route 666 Shows Off More Tactical Biker Gameplay

Ride to Hell Route 666 Logo Header

Ride To Hell: Route 666 is a game that takes place in the same Ride to Hell universe as Ride to Hell: Retribution and Ride to Hell: Beatdown which I guess makes this Lord of the Rings as they are going for back to back to back releases.

This game, Ride To Hell: Route 666 is the tactical biker game, oh yeah it’s not just smash-mouth brawls, ass kicking and brewskies you’re going to need your thinking cap on. When that formation screen pops up in the trailer below I dare you to resist the urge to shout “hut, hut, hut, hut” just like you were playing Tecmo Bowl for the NES plus bikers wear helmets too. Ride to Hell: Route 666 will be coming digitally to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 come Summer 2013.

Wargame: Airland Battle (PC) Shows Off Non-Google Maps Maps!

Wargame Airland Battle Logo Header

Wargame: Airland Battle shows off a refreshing take on maps, it looks like Risk and less like Google Maps. That’s a great thing too since Wargame: Airland Battle is less like your Sunday drive to Joey’s Onion Fry Shack and more ass kicking and strategy.

From the tactical map of Europe you can deploy your troops, order special forces strikes, gather reconnaissance, use your satellite network to spy on hot spots, bomb the hell out of an area or when all else fails try some global thermonuclear war and send in a tactical nuke. All you arm chair generals head down past the jump to see 3 new screenshots of the tactical map and 1 new screenshot of an attack on a suburban neighborhood where school will definitely be canceled tomorrow. Wargame: Airland Battle will be dropping on PC May 30th 2013 so rally your troops and head on over to Steam to pre-order today.

Go Drifting In Asia With This Latest GRID 2 Trailer

Go Drifting In Asia With This Latest GRID 2 Trailer

GRID 2 is showing off more racing action this time in the streets and stadiums of Asia. You want style points, you better be ready to hang with the best drifters around as there’s a massive amount of car sliding going on in this latest trailer. The locales shown off in the trailer are inspired by Japan, Dubai and Hong Kong. Okutama Japan was the inspiration for the super tight mountain curved drift racing event. Dubai sets the stage for some mean street racing with the city whizzing by along with some Track Racing at Yas Marina. Finally Hong Kong serves as the setting for open road one on one Touge event where it’s you, your opponent and two lanes of blacktop. Right now GRID 2 is set to rev your engines May 28th 2013 with releases for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. For now be sure to head past the jump and check out all the sweet racing action below.
