Loadout (PC) Up For Early Access On Steam, Does It Get Billions Of Guns Right?

Loadout (PC) Up For Early Access On Steam, Does It Get Billions Of Guns Right?

Loadout is a free to play game up for early access on Steam. Why would you pay for free for loot, spacebux, xp and early access of course. Here’s what has me itching to send some dollars to Loadout developer Edge of Reality, they might have out done Borderlands billions of guns idea. Sacrilege, I know but hear me out.

So in Borderlands you got guns but you only got what was given to you or dropped by enemies however I always wondered why Marcus couldn’t make you a new gun out of parts from a pile of crappy guns. Loadout lets you customize all the parts of your gun, stock, chassis, barrel, bullets, etc. Adding up all the crazy combos looks like it could yield combos that are just as insane as the ones found in the land of borders only this time you’re in control to make the gun feel just how you want.

So yes this third person shooter might not have the land of Pandora or the story of the vault hunters but Loadout has the crazy customization gun hook and over the top gore I’ve been looking for. To get in the closed beta right now you can throw out $19.99 for the Pain Bringer Pack, $39.99 for the Absolute Badass Pack or big baller’s can throw in $89.99 for the Founder’s Pack each with increasingly more digital goodies. Head past the jump to see Loadout in action and check out the press release if you’re curious on the nitty gritty of digital loot you’ll receive should you pony up some funds.

Ride To Hell: Route 666 Shows Off More Tactical Biker Gameplay

Ride to Hell Route 666 Logo Header

Ride To Hell: Route 666 is a game that takes place in the same Ride to Hell universe as Ride to Hell: Retribution and Ride to Hell: Beatdown which I guess makes this Lord of the Rings as they are going for back to back to back releases.

This game, Ride To Hell: Route 666 is the tactical biker game, oh yeah it’s not just smash-mouth brawls, ass kicking and brewskies you’re going to need your thinking cap on. When that formation screen pops up in the trailer below I dare you to resist the urge to shout “hut, hut, hut, hut” just like you were playing Tecmo Bowl for the NES plus bikers wear helmets too. Ride to Hell: Route 666 will be coming digitally to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 come Summer 2013.

Star Trek Online (PC) Legacy Pack Does Not Include Romulan Ramen

Star Trek Online (PC) Legacy Pack Does Not Include Romulan Ramen

That’s right, pre-ordering the Legacy of Romulus Legacy Pack for Star Trek Online will not allow you to have the space delight that is Romulan Ramen, so sad, I know. You however might have to stock up on Ramen because the Legacy Pack is a whopping $124.99, yeesh so much for free to play.

If you would rather have just a taste of some Romulan action during then you can pre-order the starter pack for a much more reasonable $19.99. The war heats up in Star Trek Online when the free Legacy of Romulus addition drops on May 21st 2013. Head past the jump to see some of the items in the Legacy Pack in action and check out the screenshots as well. Something tells me The Third Street Saints would feel at home in Romulan Uniforms, but maybe that’s just me.
