Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII by Square Enix is bringing you more action and adventure in the Final Fantasy XIII world. Lightning returns as a playable character with players controling her to try and save the world from complete and utter destruction. Do you have enough time to save everyone because the clock is always ticking down until doomsday!
Not just given to you as some set in stone character you’ll be able to customize Lightning with outfits and weapons to get a character who looks and fights exactly how you want. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII even features a day and night cycle so you can count the days until the end of the world. Square Enix also promises a link from the real world to in-game events, though they have not yet revealed what that will be. Be sure to head past the jump for a screenshot overload. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is currently set for a 2013 release date for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
