Small Error Reported In Simultaneous Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Players, 1.4 Million Is The Correct Number

It sucks being wrong but at least Activision is owning up to it. There was a total of 3.3 million unique gamers that played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on November 8th 2011 through Xbox Live and there was 1.4 million simultaneous users playing at one time. It’s still a crap load of people playing one game at one time but 1.4 million is still half of 3.3 million so I guess we’ll have to wait until the next uber-launch to see if we can get that many people playing one game on Xbox Live.
