We’re going to have to take Engadget’s word on this one as we don’t speak any Japanese but Sony released a press release stating that you’ll need a working PSP with UMD slot and your UMD games, then just download the PSP UMD Registration App and you’ll get discounts on qualifying games for your PS Vita. Right now not all games are up for discount but Sony hopes to add more in the future, we’ve posted a list of the ones that will be available at launch after the jump. Now let’s just hope it makes its way to America.
