Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken Incoming Oct 19th 2011 For Europe

Ratloop Asia has released a press release for Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken and it’s going to be hitting PlayStation Network in Europe on October 19th 2011 for a small fee of 8.99 € /£7.19. In case you missed it it’s also going to be launching in North America on October 18th 2011 for the equally small $11.99. You’re going to be getting 15 chapters in the solo campaign and 10 different chapters in the co-op campaign, man do we love co-op! Remember this game is going to have some puzzles so if your eyes and brain can’t work together you may want to leave off the stereoscopic 3D. But if you dare, you can rock the game in blazing 3D and try and twist your brain around those puzzles just don’t blame us if your eyes fall out and your brain decides it wants to leave. Speaking of brains in addition to the Uzi’s, MP5’s, AK-47’s and explosives you’ll be able to unlock the ultimate weapon, Brain Bugs! Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken builds upon the critically acclaimed browser-based game Rocketbirds: Revolution! and expands the Rocketbirds universe with new characters, missions, puzzles, exclusive music videos, retro cut scenes and more. Set in Albatropolis, a land full of birds taken over by a totalitarian penguin regime, Hardboiled Chicken, the original Coq of War, must assassinate the evil penguin leader Putzki.  His mission will unlock the secrets to his mysterious, hard boiled past and uncover the real enemies of Albatropolis.  In single-player mode, take on the role of Hardboiled Chickenand destroy your enemies with a slew of weapons you collect and unlock in each chapter. Master fowl play in the full co-op campaign which features 10 chapters and brings a narrative of  its own as a pair of Budgie commandos on a mission to save the general’s daughter.  Many lives will be destroyed, countless penguins will die, and an astonishing past will be unveiled through a series of unlockable cut scenes and videos.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken will also feature Los Angeles based indie rock band New World Revolution to provide in-game music. Perfectly orchestrated to unlockable music videos and cut-scenes, the exclusive tracks from New World Revolution artistically unveil the untold story of main characterHardboiled Chicken, and expose the truth behind the evil penguin regime that Hardboiled sets out to destroy.
