It won RPG Fan’s Indie RPG of the Year for 2009 and reminds me of a time when RPG’s were simple and charming. Check out the intro and full press release after the jump.

Aldorlea’s indie RPG hit “Millennium – A New Hope” is to be ported on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Live Indie Games!

Aldorlea Games (http://www.aldorlea.com) and Geex (http://www.geexpowered.com/tfog) are proud to announce they will be working in the weeks to come to make “Millennium – A New Hope” available for players of the Xbox 360.

The game is meant to be released around October-November 2011.

This will be Geex’s second released game on the Xbox platform after “The Fall of Gods”, Geex’ first game as a developer, both available on PC (http://aldorlea.org/thefallofgods.php) and Xbox 360.

Released in 2009 for the PC indie and casual market of RPGs, Millennium has since then proven to be a major hit, becoming Aldorlea’s best-seller. It is already available through major portals such as Big Fish Games, Gamersgate, GameStop, Iwin, Yahoo!Games, Arcade Town or Amazon, and RPG Fan awarded it “Best Indie RPG of the Year” in 2009.

The Millennium game series has seen 3 more released episodes, and a 5thand final one is due in 2012.
