Celebrate 30 Years Of Games With The Launch Of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere Of Influence

Let that title sink in, Nobunaga’s Ambition has been around in video games for 30 years. That’s insane and if Wikipedia is to believed this marks the 15th game in the storied series. Now we have the latest version of the game Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence which is releasing on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC. It’s crazy to think this series has probably been released on the most platforms ever. I was shocked when I saw it in the upcoming Steam releases this morning wondering if it was in-fact the from the same series of games I had seen way back on the NES and it IS!

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence is much more realistic today than it was all those years ago with Koei Tecmo Games touting this entry in the series is as realistic as it gets, bold words! So if you want to recreate the Battle of Sekigahara in all its glory this sounds right up your alley. The Steam reviews for Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence slant toward the positive, I only saw three negative reviews but the top positive reviews seem to give you more insight into what this game is all about drawing parallels to Europa Universalis and Total War. So be sure to check out a few of those reviews and if you like what you hear and of course like what you see in the trailer above you can pick up Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence for $59.99.
