La-Mulana is taking it’s cave diving, treasure stealing and whip cracking adventure to the PS Vita in a huge new updated version dubbed La-Mulana EX. Thanks to successful Kickstarter for a sequel and a wave of support from fans of the original Pygmy Studios and Rising Star Games were brought in to bring the ultimate La-Mulana version to PS Vita.
La-Mulana EX sets itself apart from the original with the ability to travel almost anywhere in the world right from the start. There’s now a Monster Bestiary to analyze monsters in detail that have dared to cross your path. If you just want to play La-Mulana EX now allows you to undo the Hard Mode curse if you feel the difficulty is not allowing you to enjoy the game. Finally the team has improved the translations for English, Japanese, French, Spanish, German and Russian hopefully allowing many more gamers to enjoy the game in their native language.
La-Mulana EX is out now for PS Vita in North America and can be purchased via the PlayStation Store. La-Mulana EX will also release in PAL territories on March 4th 2015. There’s no set price yet but to give you an idea of what it could cost when it launched in Japan on December 17th it was 1,500 Yen.
