What’s being described as a reimaging of WWE Superstars in a fantastical world WWE Immortals is sadly going to be a free to play game for mobile. It’s not all bad but when you name drop a developer like NetherRealm and their game Injustice: Gods Among Us I’m thinking we are going to get an epic 1 on 1 wrestling/fighting game that fans previously could have only dreamed of.
WWE Immortals is thankfully going to be coming to both iOS and Android devices, no word on Windows Phones however. It is set to launch next year in 2015 which lets face it is basically this year already. We only were able to grab the press release and I have yet to see any screenshots or even a logo for that matter but I would think that should be coming around rather quickly with the release date so soon. We hope this comes out and blows our wrestling boots off but for now I’m cautiously optimistic.

WWE and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are creating WWE Immortals™, a free-to-play mobile game that will feature epic Superstar battles in a fantastically re-imagined WWE world. WWE Immortals is being developed by NetherRealm Studios, the creators of the best-selling Mortal Kombat franchise and Injustice: Gods Among Us, in conjunction with Phosphor Game Studios, and will be available worldwide on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Android devices in 2015.
