Whatever WB Games did they seem do have done it right because Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor feels like its everywhere. This latest trailer is BRUTAL. We’re talking Mortal Kombat brutal which is great because it’s not your character getting hacked to bits for once. How can a game based on Lord of the Rings not have Lord of the Rings in the name and still be good, I guess if you make one like Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor that’s how.
We heard a little about how the nemesis system is going to be this and that before release but now as the reviews start to spill like the blood of your enemies on the field of battle it seems they were right! At least on current gen and PC versions of the game, sadly anyone rocking a PlayStation 3 or an Xbox 360 might want to wait for reviews dedicated to those systems as it is now known that the thing everyone loves about the game will be scaled back for those systems.
So if you passed on the game as another Lord of the Rings rip off and you have a PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC you should start checking out YouTube and all your favorite game review sites to see what’s up with Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. I wouldn’t hold it against you if you find yourself needing a quick $60 so you can get in on all the fun bloodshed. Also in case you haven’t heard the combat in this game is pretty much Arkham Batman style combat so you will be one bad ass Orc slayer with ease.
