The free to play cash grab no one expected Plants vs Zombies 2 is ready to unleash its first expansion on the world, Dark Ages Part 1. What does that mean, I’m guessing it means we’re also going to see Dark Ages Part 2: The Revenge of Darkness at some point.
For now however we know that you’ll be taking your ever grinning plants on a journey much like Ash took to the land of Castles, Dragons, Knights and Chiverly. Only this time there will be Knight Zombies, Jester Zombies and more instead of the Deadites Ash so faithfully defeated. You didn’t expect Deadites did you, I mean Ash clearly killed them all, all we have let are zombies at this point.
When can I face off against this new horde of undead atrocities? Well unfortunately my plant squire EA did not send along a press release with this type of information scrawled on it. But what they did send us tells of of their courageous adventures past the 200 million download mark and PR obviously knows that is way more important than your silly request for pricing or release dates. So check out the screenshots below because it could be tomorrow, the day after or even next month before Plants vs Zombies 2 Dark Ages Part 1 makes itself known again.
