Everything you need to know about Deep Down needs to be seen not read. Which is great because I can’t read a word on this Japanese Deep Down Trailer About Page! But you know what, it doesn’t matter.
Do you like exploring dungeons? Do you like some epic looking graphics, what about crazy ass monsters? Deep Down looks like it’s checking all the right boxes the only down side is it’s headed directly to PlayStation 4 and it’s going to be free to play. The PlayStation 4 exclusivity makes sense in these times but the free to play nature of the title has us wanting to take a wait and see approach to the game.
All that of course will not matter should the game never reach North America or anywhere else in the world besides Japan. I’m pretty certain Capcom is going to bring this out to the rest of the world, what I’m not to certain about is just what they are going to do with in-app purchases. Until then we’ll just have to replay this sweet ass looking trailer again and again and marvel over all the shiny new graphics.
