Shadow Warrior‘s Lo Wang is getting another instrument of death added to his already glorious arsenal as the ice pick from The Walking Dead will now be available to slice, dice and brain even more nether realm monsters and tuxedo wearing gangstas. If you played The Walking Dead by Telltale Games you’ll remember that Molly used the ice pick not only to scale buildings but also to down a decent number of walkers, it is quite the handy tool. Now that Lo Wang wields the ice pick we’re sure he can put it to very good use. Head down below the jump to check out two screenshots of the ice pick as it appears in Shadow Warrior. There’s no mention of it from the Dutch press release but we would think like the last promo for the Penetrator from Saints Row IV you would have to own The Walking Dead on Steam to get the ice pick but I’ll update the story when I get a definitive answer.

Vanaf aanstaande zondag kunnen Wang fans de beruchte ijsbijl uit The Walking Dead gebruiken als slagwapen in Flying Wild Hog’s Shadow Warrior. De ijsbijl is te gebruiken in plaats van de standaard katana.
“As a fan of The Walking Dead, I’m super excited about this fantastic cross promotion with our beloved Shadow Warrior,” said Fork Parker, Devolver Digital CFO. “As a fan of money, this certainly helps quite a bit as well.”
Naast de ijsbijl uit The Walking Dead is het al langer mogelijk om met wapens uit andere games te spelen. Zo kunnen spelers gebruik maken van wapens als de Penetrator uit Saints Row IV, de Katana uit Hotline Miami en Serious Sam 3’s moker. Shadow Warrior en The Walking Dead zijn beiden verkrijgbaar op Steam en andere digitale download services.
