This time the additions are Silent Hill 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Beyond Good and Evil and Tetris Opera. Anyone of those masterpieces should get every gamer young and old excited for sure.
The best part is anyone wanting to hear the amazing line up of music that is Video Games Live: Level 3 only needs to pledge $10 to get a copy of the finalized audio once it’s completed. Los Angeles, CA, USA – September 9 2013/… Video Games Live™, the first and most successful video game touring concert in the world, today confirmed five new games that will be featured on the upcoming Video Games Live: Level 3 album, which is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to fund its production and release. Music from Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Beyond Good & Evil, Silent Hill 2 and Tetris now joins the already confirmedStreet Fighter II, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Diablo III and World of Warcraft.
The Grammy-nominated music from Journey, the indie PlayStation 3 hit, will be featured on the planned Video Games Live: Level 3 album in a unique arrangement from Journey’s composer Austin Wintory and VGL’s Tommy Tallarico. VGL’s Tommy Tallarico has also collaborated with Silent Hill 2’s composer Akira Yamaoka to provide a new arrangement of the eerie and iconic soundtrack. This unique version has never been recorded before and will also feature Yamaoka on guitar. This clip from the TGS Video Games Live show in Japan was the first time that Akira Yamaoka performed in his Japanese homeland.

Also confirmed for Level 3 are Shadow of the Colossus, Beyond Good & Eviland Tetris, and it will be the first time that either of these exclusive live arrangements will be recorded for an album.
