Megabyte Punch (PC) Kicks SSB In The Teeth, Kidnaps Megaman And Apes Custom Robo

YES! Finally a new PC beat ’em up co-op/versus game that takes a chainsaw to your favorite franchises and Dr. Frankensteins them back together with super glue. Megabyte Punch takes inspiration from Super Smash Bros., Megaman and Custom Robo purees them into a fine sauce adds a little kick of their own. You’ll have 150 parts to collect to create your ultimate fighting smashing hero, there’s 6 worlds with boss fights, 4 player co-op, 4 player versus mode, a tournament for glory and rare hero parts and finally a sick pumpin’ electro soundtrack to kick ass to.

Megabyte Punch was born to be played with couch co-op trash talking friends. Pizza, brew and Megabyte Punch could become a regular Saturday night thing at many gamer’s homes if this takes off. Being a team of only two developers Reptile has done an amazing job so far but this game is crying out for a wider release, dare I suggest Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Ouya and Next Gen. In lieu of that the team is also reaching out for a Steam release via Steam Greenlight. To say this game would benefit from Big Picture mode is an understatement. To get a taste of the game you can check out the demo here and pick up the game on Desura for only $14.99. Head past the jump to check out a trailer for the game and then give the demo a try today.

About Reptile-Games:

Reptile began with making the customizable fighting/beat ‘em up game Megabyte Punch in late 2011. The early versions of the game received a lot of praise, which, coupled with the fact that hardly any game developer was making games quite the way Reptile saw them resulted in the formation of the company. In 2012, alongside developing Megabyte Punch, Reptile also diverted into smaller projects. Like the upcoming rhythm game Beat Attack and the competitive Lethal League.
