Hawken Shows Off A New Support Mech And New Map (PC)

https://www.playhawken.com/ the awesome looking free to play team mech blasting game will be adding a new support mech and the new Front Line today April 18th 2013. The update makes a few changes to the game to bring a more fun and tactical experience to the game.

The team behind Hawken make it clear that the new support mech The Technician is not your run of the mill pilotable repair droid. This is a combat mech on steroids with a dual mode secondary weapon along with a primary weapon that’s ready at a moments notice, you’ve been warned. Hopefully The Technician and the gameplay update will keep more players focused on team play and make for a more rewarding gameplay experience.

The new Front Line map is huge and as you can see in the screenshots below looks astonishing. We’re glad to see a new map look so clean and almost clinical with less dirt and debris and a more white future look. Front Line supports all game modes, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Missile Assault and Siege so there’s no excuses not to play. Head on past the jump to check out the new screenshots and then head on over to https://www.playhawken.com/, sign up and get your mech on.
