Tomb Raider Still Supporting Ancient Treasures Like Windows XP On PC, More Specs Inside

Just when you thought your PC was old and dusty like something Lara would find next to a skeleton on one of her adventures Crystal Dynamics comes to the rescue with Tomb Raider. From the low end to the high end they’ve built Tomb Raider to support a great range of hardware to get gamers everywhere playing. The lowest you can go is Windows XP with either an Intel Core2Due E6300 or AMD Athlong 64×2 4050+ rocking 1GB of Memory and either a AMD Radeon HD 2600 XT or nVidia 8600. Of course for highest the skies the limit but their recommended specs are Windows Vista, 7 or 8 with either an Intel Core i5-750 or XMD Phenom II X2 565 rocking 4GB of Memory and either a AMD Radeon HD 4870 or nVidia GTX 480. Which unlike a lot of games the recommended specs are actually a decent mid range PC instead of some ginormous render farm PC. Crystal Dynamics also went the extra mile to support gamepads, multiplayer, Steam’s Big Picture Mode and if you have the hardware tessellation, high quality shadows, bokeh depth of field with near-blur, tessellation, SSAO and much more. So if you have to, save up for some new parts or rock your current system but be ready as Tomb Raider is hitting shelves and digital outlets March 5th 2013 until then you can head down past the jump for all the juicy PR details.
