LEVEL-5 and Studio Ghibli’s hotly anticipated Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for the PlayStation 3 had it’s official European box art drop today and I must say it is nicely subdued. They could have gone way overboard with this JPRG’s cover or used a more stock photo like the Ninokuni: Shikkoku no Madoushi Nintendo DS game cover. If you didn’t know you could already get a taste of what’s in-store as the demo dropped on the PlayStation Store on December 4th and December 5th 2012 for North America and Europe respectively. The release date for the game is still set for January 22nd and 25th 2013 again in North America and Europe so it looks like we’ll all be ringing in the new year with some great anime, rpg video game action!

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Demo Release Dates
NAMCO BANDAI Games and LEVEL-5 today announce that the demo of the highly anticipated JRPG Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch™ will be available on the Sony PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system on December 4th in North America and on December 5th in Europe.
You will be able to play through two different levels of the game where you can test your mettle against a couple of the game’s most infamous bosses: Guardian of the Woods and Moltaan.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is an epic Japanese role-playing-game developed by the critically acclaimed Japanese development studio, LEVEL-5. The game features animations and cut-scenes that are produced and supervised by the legendary Japanese animation company, Studio Ghibli. The music in the game was composed by the world-renowned music composer Joe Hisaishi.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is the heart-warming tale of a young boy named Oliver, who embarks on a journey into another world to become a wizard in an attempt to save his mother. Along the way, Oliver makes new friends and tames many of the wonderful creatures that inhabit the world, raising them to battle other creatures on his behalf as he takes on formidable enemies.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be available for purchase at the PlayStation®Store and at videogame retailers in North America on January 22nd 2013 and in Europe on January 25th 2013.
