EVE Online (PC) Selected To Be Part Of Permanent Collection Of Video Games At The MOMA

Congradulations to EVE Online who was selected as one of fourteen games to be part of the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent video game collection. You heard that right, fourteen out of the countless thousands of video games that have been created. The games were chosen based on their interactive design as well as artistic criteria, so I guess you could say these games are art! The other inductees are Pac-Man, Tetris, Another World, Myst, SimCity 2000, vib-ribbon, The Sims, Katamari Damacy, Dwarf Fortress, Portal, flOw, Passage and Canabalt. I have to say that’s a pretty good mix of classics and new comers, I can’t wait to see who else gets inducted!
