HardOCP Gets Graphical With Call of Duty: Black Ops II For PC

HardOCP takes Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to the land of PC where resolutions, frame rates, tessellation, anti-aliasing and pure unadulterated image quality rule the battlefield. While taking Black Ops 2 through its paces HardOCP did find that this Call of Duty actually uses a whole new bag of tricks in the graphics department even stepping up allowing NVIDIA’s latest TXAA technology to be applied which is very new. However even this latest trick is not pushing this game to be graphically better than the older Battlefield 3.

Fanboy’s can bicker between each other for eon’s and the fact remains that graphically Battlefield 3 has better graphics. Hell Medal of Honor: Warfighter which had an additional year to polish up also has worse graphics than BF3 and it uses the same damn engine! When you spend the cost of a console just on your video card you hope AAA titles make your eyes bug out and while Call of Duty: Back Ops 2 isn’t a slouch and actually lets you have framerates above 60fps, depth of field, apply things like MSAA and TXAA it’s still a far cry from what PC gamer’s should expect from the $500 million dollar first weekend selling blockbuster. Head on over to the full article to see all the pixel pummeling action.
