Halo 4 Nukes Everyone’s Wallet, Does $220 Million In 24 Hours Globally

If there was any doubt that Halo would sink after the trilogy was done it seems a lot of people are there filling the gas tank of Master Chief and I’m guessing another two more outings minimum. Collection $220 Million in 24 hours globally is pretty crazy no matter how you want to say it. Which also means it’s probably also heading toward Saga title once it’s all packed up, The Halo Saga, which I admit has a nice ring to it. The press release down below sounded a little weird. I get that it’s the biggest entertainment launch. But did it do more at the box office than Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and The Avengers globally? Google led me to Forbes and they confirmed what I found weird, U.S. sales only vs global, but the reason is crazy, “it seems that it’s difficult to chart worldwide earnings for movies”. In today’s always sharing society, who would have thought we couldn’t get good numbers for opening day! Just for reference Wikipedia lists Potter at $482 Million and Avengers at $392 Million opening day globally but that’s normally Friday thru Sunday. Be regardless $220 million is crazy, especially for a video game so it would be safe to say it’s the biggest video game launch. For that Master Chief you make me pull out all the stops for the ultimate slow clap round of applause, now come to the damn PC!
