TikGames kicks off “Chucky: Wanna Play” Kickstarter Campaign
Chucky: Wanna Play Kickstarter campaign now live!
San Mateo, California – October 16, 2012 – Today TikGames announced a Kickstarter campaign to help fund development for a video game featuring one of the most iconic movie characters of all time: Chucky from the thriller Child’s Play. Starring in his first video game ever, gamers will play the role of Chucky in this stealth action adventure.
“After securing the video game publishing rights for this menacing little character, we decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the development. This allows us to build the game for gamers and not worry about watering down our vision to appease mass market game resellers,” said Alex Tikhman, Co-Founder and VP of Publishing & Business Development for TikGames. “If our campaign is successful, we will create a game that truly captures the edge-of-your-seat thriller action of the menacing spirit Chucky.”
Pledges to the Kickstarter campaign will not only score people a copy of Chucky: Wanna Play for PC when it releases in 2013, but TikGames is also opening up its vault of award winning titles and making them available to participants at certain levels. Larger awards such as a real Good Guy Doll, or a chance to design custom kill moves for the game are also available. Funds will help cover costs of fulfillment and to support development of Chucky: Wanna Play. The Chucky: Wanna Play Kickstarter campaign is available now through November 14, 2012.
