The fifth entry in the Deadlight diary series is up by Tequila Works. This entry focuses on how the team gives the player challenges and puzzles in the world. The team starts simply and then as the challenge turns out to be fitting in the game becomes more and more polished. This allows the team to try different scenarios rapidly and get that perfect balance of risk and reward. Since the team tests these scenarios on themselves they’ve also been burned by their own creation more than once and had to tone it down even for them.
