Tribes: Ascend (PC) Adding More Localized Versions, Shazbot At An All Time High

Hi-Rez Studios wants anyone and everyone to shout “SHAZBOT” and are dedicated to serving up Tribes: Ascend to more users in more countries. The easiest way to do that is to have the game in their native language. Shortly after Gamescom, the betas for the French and Spanish versions of Tribes: Ascend will be kicking off to join the currently in beta German version, hrmmmm how do you say “Shazbot” in French and Spanish? Anyway as someone who has tried to play numerous games from Japan only to quite most of the time, it’s good to see Hi-Rez reaching out and bringing more players to the Tribes: Ascend fold, “For The Circle”!

As the German version of Tribes: Ascend (currently in beta) nears release, Hi-Rez confirms that Spanish and French versions are also on the way. Hi-Rez is keen to incorporate feedback from French and Spanish players in the beta phases, which will kick off shortly after gamescom.

“Our European community for both games has grown really rapidly, which is fantastic to see and we’re working hard to add more support for non-English-speaking players. We are regularly adding new SMITE servers for Europe, and we’re happy to have a beta German version to show at gamescom. French and Spanish versions will follow shortly after the show,” said Todd Harris, Chief Operating Officer at Hi-Rez Studios.
