Alan Wake Gets A Four Disc Collects Edition At Retail For PC Release

Now this is how you do a retail release; for everyone, myself included, who has waited to see what Remedy Entertainment was bringing out for the retail release of Alan Wake you’re in for a surprise. If you choose to pick up the Collectors Edition of the game you’ll be rewarded with four discs of mysterious goodness. First up both versions of the game at retail will include the game plus both DLCs The Signal and The Writer, the original soundtrack of the game including 13 Tracks on audio CD, 6 Post cards with different pictures/scenes from the game, the manual, 1 double sided poster and 7 stickers with different pictures/scenes/characters from the game. If you step up to the Collectors Edition you’ll also be getting the game but with added audio commentary and background information by Remedy, which can be switched on in addition to the game, two extra bonus discs that have the History of Remedy, Making of Alan Wake, Making of a Thriller, music video “War” by Poets of the Fall, several trailers to the game, Storyboard (with concept art) as a movie clip and finally The Alan Wake Files; 144 pages containing evidence on the mysterious incidents around Alan Wake and Bright Falls, compiled by the fictitious author Clay Steward (no hardcover, same print format as the game manual ). This sounds like an awesome package, I can’t wait to pick it up. Thanks to Remedy Entertainment for delivering a PC port, I hate to use that word, with all the bells and whistles it could throw at us. **Right now it looks like the retail release has only shown up on Amazon.co.uk here. Hopefully we’ll have more information soon on other regions.
