The Roots Of Resident Evil Started In 1989 On The NES Game Sweet Home

Capcom-Unity brings us a look at a little known Japanese game by Capcom, Sweet Home, which has the roots for the Resident Evil franchise as a whole. What’s even crazier is this is a movie tie-in game which usually end up sucking but instead this one went on to launch one of Capcom’s most successful franchises. This 8-bit delight has multiple characters, perma-death, special items per-character, the door sequence animation when entering rooms, puzzle solving and is set in a giant mansion.
