Rayman is taking his brand of mischievous platforming in Rayman: Legends and bringing it into the next generation with the help of Snoop Lion in this latest trailer. Now I just want to play Rayman: Legends with a Snoop Lion alt character complete with dozens of voice samples. It would be even better if you could have new Snoop Lion samples and also a second set just from Snoop Dogg samples.
Alas this is probabaly not the case as the press release that accompanies the video makes no mention of Snoop Lion at all, really Ubisoft? Sure there’s Assassin Rayman on PlayStation 4 while Xbox One gets Splinter Rayman, Vaas Rayman and Globox Rayman along with 10 exclusive challenges along with time limited achievements. The PlayStation 4 volleys back with the use of the controller touchpad, sharing screenshots and video along with PS Vita remote play. Oh well hopefully the Ubisoft of Future Past grants us some next gen Snoop Lion DLC, if not Rayman: Legends is still a hell of a game.

Rayman Legends is the sequel to the already acclaimed platformer Rayman Origins. In this opus, Rayman and Globox awaken after a 100-year nap that allowed nightmares to infest the Glade of Dreams. The Supreme Being Bubble Dreamer sends them once again on an adventure to fight the evil creatures and restore order in the universe. Rayman Legends features a wide range of gameplay, including traditional Rayman platforming action and new musical, rhythm-based stages. The award-winning team of artists, designers and composers has also returned with an advanced UbiArt engine to include multi-dimension gameplay elements, an improved lighting system and updated game rendering that elevate Rayman’s previous graphics to the next level.
