Loadout (PC) Up For Early Access On Steam, Does It Get Billions Of Guns Right?

Loadout (PC) Up For Early Access On Steam, Does It Get Billions Of Guns Right?

Loadout is a free to play game up for early access on Steam. Why would you pay for free for loot, spacebux, xp and early access of course. Here’s what has me itching to send some dollars to Loadout developer Edge of Reality, they might have out done Borderlands billions of guns idea. Sacrilege, I know but hear me out.

So in Borderlands you got guns but you only got what was given to you or dropped by enemies however I always wondered why Marcus couldn’t make you a new gun out of parts from a pile of crappy guns. Loadout lets you customize all the parts of your gun, stock, chassis, barrel, bullets, etc. Adding up all the crazy combos looks like it could yield combos that are just as insane as the ones found in the land of borders only this time you’re in control to make the gun feel just how you want.

So yes this third person shooter might not have the land of Pandora or the story of the vault hunters but Loadout has the crazy customization gun hook and over the top gore I’ve been looking for. To get in the closed beta right now you can throw out $19.99 for the Pain Bringer Pack, $39.99 for the Absolute Badass Pack or big baller’s can throw in $89.99 for the Founder’s Pack each with increasingly more digital goodies. Head past the jump to see Loadout in action and check out the press release if you’re curious on the nitty gritty of digital loot you’ll receive should you pony up some funds.

Grab your masks and duffle bags, Payday 2 brings back your old friends Hoxton, Chains, Wolf and Dallas for more multi-person robbery action. Overkill software has stuff so much content into Payday 2 that it’s going to be knocking over your favorite retailers as well. You better be ready as Overkill has added new stealth elements to these new heists allowing you to stay quiet for longer if you got the right moves. Look for the action to heat up August 2013 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Be sure to head past the jump and take a good look at that box art, you won’t want to miss these guys.

Ride to Hell: Route 666 Mixes Leather, Asphalt And Strategy Into A Deadly Combo

Ride to Hell: Route 666 Mixes Leather, Asphalt And Strategy Into A Deadly Combo

Ride to Hell: Route 666 is giving you full control of a motorcycle game to use your tactical ability to beat the tar out of other gangs. That’s right I said tactical, this isn’t your standard driving Miss Daisy motorcycle gang, they need your brains to put their brawn to work. Don’t get this confused with that other Ride to Hell game either this one is cell shaded and I don’t see any jumpy or missing frames in the video.

As Jake Conway you won’t have to just sit back and just issues orders either. In Ride to Hell: Route 666 you can be an armchair quarter back calling the shots or ride up front, get in there with the boys and throw some of your own hay-makers to turn the tide of the rumble. If you can’t get enough biker action you’ll be happy to know that Ride to Hell: Beatdown will be coming to the mobile space so you’ll never be without your posse. Be sure and grab your leathers as Ride to Hell: Route 666 is coming June 2013 to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified Finally Shows Off <redacted>

The Bureau XCOM Declassified Logo

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is the new/old XCOM first person game that has finally been given new life. The trailer is all live action, it sets the tone but live action can either mean hiding something or maybe they actually care enough to go big. We’re hoping, and we always do, that it’s the latter. Now the screenshots for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified this is where the meat is.

Check out all that 1960′s era goodness those screenshots below are dripping in. From the cars, to the clothes and even the architecture it all looks spot on. The war room looks even better, everything is filled in a cloud of cigarette smoke, there’s green and black terminals everywhere and all kinds of blinky buttons. So we know the game at least looks the part but now we just need some gameplay trailers to back up how it looks in motion. We shouldn’t have to wait to long as The Bureau: XCOM Declassified comes to us earthlings August 20th 2013 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
