SOPA Update

Multiple Websites Black Out To Raise Awareness For SOPA

Stop SOPA

Today is the day the internet rose up and came together to raise awareness in the fight against SOPA. While SOPA, the Stop Online Piracy Act, and PIPA, the Protect IP Act are both coming from America they have the ability to change the internet as a whole the world over. Unfortunately SOPA and PIPA do not look like they are going to go away quietly so while big media might have you believe you can just sit back this is about the furthest from the truth you can get. Don’t take my word for it, the best thing to do would be to educate yourself first and then take a stand on the side you believe in most. If you feel SOPA and PIPA are wrong we would hope today would be a day you decide to take action, just because a good number of people are making noise that doesn’t mean every extra voice isn’t helpful. There are a lot of powerful companies and people backing SOPA and PIPA so it will not go away quietly.

In no particular order here are the websites that have blacked out to raise awareness about SOPA:

Remember, together we can make a difference; thank you for reading,
