Joe Danger Crashes His Way Onto PC via Steam

Joe Danger Logo

Joe Danger has finally crashed through console land and found himself on PC thanks to Steam. Now PC gamer’s can finally experience the excitement and thrill that is Joe Danger. Hello Games has brought you the one two punch of Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie now with enhanced PC features so Joe can look and play better than ever.

Hello Games founder Sean Murray says the kinds of things that warms gamer’s hearts like “We have a rule that whenever we put our games onto a new platform we have to add something. We can’t just do a quick and dirty port”. SAY WHAT?!? You mean you aren’t just after our money but our hearts as well! So get ready PC gamer’s Joe Danger is headed for you later this year with higher resolution graphics, Big Picture Mode, Gamepad support, Keyboard and Mouse Support, Steam Workshop integration, ghost recording and multiplayer. A little caveat, while the press release does not mention multiplayer one of the screenshot’s below shows four players on screen at once. So be on the look out this might be full on multiplayer or couch co-op or both, we can dream can’t we? Until then head past the jump and check out the colorful screens with your own eyeballs.

Need for Speed Rivals Brings You More Zroom Zroom

Need for Speed Rivals is the next entry in the long loved and hated series from EA. Most gamer’s have their favorite entry and want more of it, if you loved last years Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit we’re guessing you’re in for a treat.

The cops are back and now you can be on either side of the law, busting criminals our out running the fuzz. With Criterion at the helm along with new studio Ghost Games you should know the drill, open world, massive amounts of cosmetic damage, cheating A.I. and tiered customization options. EA once again brings you AutoLog, so you can brag to your friends and then see when they crush your time in their tricked out Nissan or Ferrari. Yeah, Ferrari is back in the Need for Speed franchise so you can finally feel what it’s like to ride the stallion again.

The Need for Speed Rivals teaser looks decent and the screenshots are of course pixel perfect but it honestly feels like another rehash. Plus it’s running on the Frostbite 3 engine so it better look amazing. I just hope I’m proven wrong, I hope they can really get that old Need for Speed adrenaline back. The perfect feeling you get racing a rival going 120 MPH down a twisty mountain road it’s all about who finishes first. Until we get a demo you can check out the aforementioned screenshots and teaser below. For me that perfect game in recent years would be the marriage of the customization from Test Drive Unlimited with the open world driving fun of Forza Horizon. If someone makes that I might even spring for the $120 special edition.

Dying Light By WB Brings You More Zombies, You Know You Want It

Dying Light Logo Header

It’s not secret that I’m a sucker for zombie games and Dying Light by Warner Bros. is promising to give us gamer’s open world zombie fun. It’s also coming out for everything except anything Nintendo so PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The only problem I see with that is they better optimize the ports for Next Gen and PC damn it!

Dying Light has exploration, scavenging, innovation, weapon crafting, open world, zombies and day/night cycles which should be the perfect ingredients to keep you on your toes at all times. There’s even monsters who mostly come out at night… mostly. The only issue I have is there’s no mention of online, multiplayer or co-op which if done right could take this game from great to awesome. For now you can check out the screenshots below or watch IGN’s announcement.

Ride To Hell: Route 666 Shows Off More Tactical Biker Gameplay

Ride to Hell Route 666 Logo Header

Ride To Hell: Route 666 is a game that takes place in the same Ride to Hell universe as Ride to Hell: Retribution and Ride to Hell: Beatdown which I guess makes this Lord of the Rings as they are going for back to back to back releases.

This game, Ride To Hell: Route 666 is the tactical biker game, oh yeah it’s not just smash-mouth brawls, ass kicking and brewskies you’re going to need your thinking cap on. When that formation screen pops up in the trailer below I dare you to resist the urge to shout “hut, hut, hut, hut” just like you were playing Tecmo Bowl for the NES plus bikers wear helmets too. Ride to Hell: Route 666 will be coming digitally to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 come Summer 2013.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Shows Off The New Eorzea With These Screenshots

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn Logo

Hey there PC and PlayStation 3 MMORPG lovers or lovers of things Final Fantasy, Square Enix have given us more Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn screenshots for you to drool over. Know that there is cross platform play so no matter if your friends have a PC or PlayStation 3 you should be all set to party up. If you are hardcore and want to play on both systems so far the only thing we can see is that you’ll need to purchase a copy of the game for each system but only need one subscription. The big news to me is the class system, want to be a different class, just change your weapon, easy as that. No class station, no waiting until you die and no need to wonder what it feels like to be an epic battle mage, carry the right gear and you can get through any situation. So had down past the jump and check out those gergous screenshots, there’s not hard release date on this but if we had to bet we would say just before the PlayStation 4 launch in 2013. If you want to see Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in action check out the videos we posted here and here.
