MiniBots The New Action Game For PlayStation Home

MiniBots: Battlebox is a game within PlayStation Home that allows you to customize little battle bots to take out enemies and capture flags. But you aren’t just warped to some other location you build the level right in your own homespace with the pieces provided and then build your own custom MiniBot to fight in that level. Right now it looks to be single player only if Juggernaut Games can somehow integrate two player action it would really heat things up in Home. New Challenges Coming To Uncharted 3 Home Total Game Integration

The Uncharted 3 PlayStation Home Total Integration is releasing some new challenges and rewards today.
Challenge – Reward

  • Complete Wave 2 – RPG Furniture Reward
  • Marksman (finish 2 waves with an accuracy greater than 60%) – Dragunov Furniture Reward
  • Bounty Hunter (Kill a total of 150 enemies) – AK-47 Hand Item Reward
  • Grenadier (Kill at least 50 enemies by using grenades) – Grenade Hand Item Reward
  • Money Maker (Get a combined score of 250,000) – G-MAL Assault Rifle Hand Item Reward

Remember not only are you going to get the small rewards today, if you pass all 10 challenges laid out for you over the coming weeks you’ll also get the Kickback Endurance Booster to use in the retail release of Uncharted 3.

PlayStation Home Redesign Slated For Fall 2011

Playstation Home Redesign

While many people still make fun of Sony’s Playstation Home, it must be doing something right to get a massive redesign. While the old Playstation Home had a very pastel and almost The Sims feeling to it I like this new direction Sony is taking it. Home is changing from just being a place to do a mini-game or two into something more and becoming almost MMO-ish with a built in questing system. Will this bring more people into Home? I know I’m going to at least check it out. See the screen shots of the new hubs areas, Action District, SportsWalk, Pier Park and the Adventure District after the jump.
