Konami has dropped two huge bombs on us at once, first the Metal Gear Solid 4 Trophies that everyone has been waiting forever for have finally dropped on PlayStation 3. That’s thirty four trophies for you to drag old snake out of retirement once more to find but don’t think it will be easy. Next you know longer need to leave your house to grab the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Konami is releasing the bundle and the separate releases to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita. August 21st will see Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD Editions for the PS Vita and PlayStation 3 on PSN along with the complete Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for Xbox 360 Games On Demand. August 28th will have Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 along with the complete Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PlayStation 3. Note that while both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 get the HD Collection the press release does not list Peace Walker as part of the Xbox 360 bundle so keep that in mind. All in all it’s a good time to be a Metal Gear fan and a great time to become one.
