Mutant Football League PAX Prime Trailer Has Guts!

This ain’t your daddies Mutant League Football, NO! This is Mutant Football League and it’s got explosive, 3D GUTS! Digital Dreams Entertainment will be at PAX Prime 2015 in booth 6813 and it’s your chance to see just how crazy this undead football game has become. Some features listed off in the trailer are 30 different teams, 4 player online or offline co-op and versus modes, Killer Stadiums that include traps, deadly hazards and insane weather, brutal hits, attacks and weapons and finally a full 13 game season mode with playoffs and the brutal Mayhem Bowl.

All that carnage is set to come to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One along with iOS and Android. The trailer for the game above looks great, it will be interesting to hear how it plays 22 years after the original released for Sega Genesis way back in 16-bit era of 1993. However since Mutant League Football creator Michael Mendheim is in the drivers seat with Mutant Football League we’re probably in good hands.

The original Mutant League Football was released by Electronic Arts in 1993 for the Sega Genesis.  It’s blend of monsters, mayhem, and good ol’ American team sports turned the game into a cult classic and a #1 best seller. The touchdown success of the original game spawned a spin-off (Mutant League Hockey: Sega Genesis, 1994), as well as a toy line, an animated cartoon series, trading cards, and more!

Digital Dreams Entertainment LLC will also be previewing its new mobile app, Cinelinx ™, a movie based trivia game for people who love movies. Players can play against each other finding connections between notable films from the 70″s, 80’s, 90’s and today. It’s a new take on movie trivia games. Dominoes for movie buffs. The game is based on the original hit card game from creator, Gabriel Barboza who will also be on hand to demo the game. Cinelinx will be released on iOS and Android mobile phones and tablets Q4 2015.
