WWE 2K16 Comes With The Yes Movement Intact

Oh you didn’t know, your ass better call somebody!!! WWE 2K16 is coming back, again… because well, it has to. WWE 2K15 was underwhelming to say the least with features missing between the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases and the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases. We are also getting a split current gen/last gen release again this year but there’s no word on parity between the two as of yet, be sure to watch closely for this. However 2K is starting off with a roster reveal that everyone likes during the build up to yet another yearly WWE video game. I know it’s wishful thinking but I’m really hoping the PC version of WWE 2K16 comes with the season pass included like it did for last years release, but maybe that’s just me. Anyway onto the news, so who is confirmed this year? None other than Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, Finn Balor and Paige. I find it interesting they chose to debut Finn Balor over someone like Kevin Owens but maybe this means we are actually going to get a nice flushed out NXT roster this year. If they go that route it would be awesome if they had you start My Career mode in NXT, run through every NXT superstar, then graduate to the main WWE roster, put on some kind of bad ass story and then finally headline WrestleMania with your ultimate rival for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However there’s a lot more than just My Career mode that 2K needs to do to fix the WWE series. Sadly it doesn’t look like they’ll ever take a year off to regroup and really wow us like I think they need. But every year I hold out hope that like the YES movement, there’s always a small chance they could pull out a miracle when we count them out the most.
