Pillars of Eternity (PC) Is Coming March 26th 2015

After a very successful Kickstarter way back in 2012 Pillars of Eternity is so close you can almost smell the dungeon funk in the air. The RPG, cRPG?, is set to launch worldwide on March 26th 2015 and has some serious pedigree behind it, no that does not mean HHH is driving the Pillars of Eternity devs face first into the canvas. It means Obsidian Entertainment has worked on such games as Baldur’s Gate, Fallout: New Vegas, Neverwinter Nights 2, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment and more. So to say gamers are a bit excited would be an understatement. You don’t raise almost $4 million dollars when people think you’re game is going to be meh when it’s released in 3 years.

If you missed out on the pre-order bonanza there is but a week left to get your extra digital goodies in before the game releases for good. For those taking the leap of faith that so many other Kickstarter gamers did you’ll be rewarded with a Giant Miniature Space Piglet companion and the Gaun’s Pledge ring for your $44.99. There’s even more digital goodness if you purchase the Champion Edition for $59.99 and then there’s the Royal Edition for $89.99 created especially for those of you sitting on fat stacks of cash. You can see the differences and make your purchasing decisions here.
