Check out the two new bosses below!

Ker, the sandworm
A monstrous creation borne from experiments conducted by the Elysium corporation, the biggest and toughest anyone has ever encountered. And it got released on Tharsis.

Intel: This creature is not to be taken lightly. His armored shells are exceptionally tough, and it looks like you may need to break through them to do any significant damage to the creature. Its gangly, twisted legs are also a big problem; consider suppressing them so they can’t be used to attack. Also, even though Ker tends to stay in one spot, running away might not be a good idea; we’ve seen it eat and swallow anything that thinks it can run. We have to stand and fight. Hiding is not an option for this creature.

In the end, maybe a good old Nuke, SHIVA weapon, might be just enough to bring him down… I sure hope so…

Marines, stay frosty, there’s a lot more to this one than just being ugly.

Ripjaw
Our intel has discovered a new creature, and we don’t yet know what to make of it. It’s sneaky, it attacks fast, and it disappears even faster. It acts like it’s the king of… other nearby creatures. They fear it.

It seems to isolate a single team member before killing… or is it actually killing them? We’ve never discovered what happened to our missing squad mates. Their comms get blocked, only traces of blood remain. Perhaps there is something more to it… a nest of some sort? An incubation process?

One thing’s for sure: each time this creature has attacked there wasn’t much we could do, and we lost one more team member, dragged into darkness by the creature.
