WB Needs Food Badly, Gauntlet (PC) Official Gameplay Walkthrough Trailer

Gauntlet is making it’s return in the form of a new PC game that’s not only launching on Steam on Sept 23rd 2014 but also coming SteamOS in 2015. That means all you Linux folk will be right there next to your PC Master Race brethren battling the hordes of monsters in the catacombs of hell!

WBIE and Arrorhead Game Studios are also doing a 4-day live stream tournament from PAX Prime 2014, get it, 4 days, 4 players, I know someone besides me thought of that pun. Some industry peeps are showing up as well like Morgan Webb, MC Frontalot, Angry Joe, Greg Miller, Jessica Chobot, Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik. Should be fun to watch them all battle it out to see who is the mightiest Gauntlet champion of them all.

The game looks like a simple enough update, you and three buddies pick your classes and there are hordes of enemies, traps, gold and food littered across the screen. They’ve even added some loadout options so you’ll actually have some choices to make pre-battle. Seriously, what more would you want from a Gauntlet game, a USB coin mechanism? Actually, that does sound kind of fun in a novelty kind of way. Gauntlet, PC, Steam, Sept 23rd 2014, SteamOS/Linux 2015, feed me more!
