Is This The Battlefield Hardline Singleplayer You Want?

Visceral Games have said that gamers need to remember there’s a whole lot of single player gameplay included with Battlefield: Hardline and not to just focus soley on the multiplayer. Not a grant stance to take when the main series was first and foremost started as a multiplayer only experience.

So here we have 12 minutes ripped from the gripping single player campaign. If you’ve played Battlefield 3 or Battlefield 4 single player you’ll instantly recognize that single player look. It has almost too much contrast and ambient dust added to every scene to enhance realism.

The gunplay they show off seems to be decent but I was really hoping for them to show off something specific to a crime story. Storming a house with agents in tow, maybe a tense one on one gun fight with hostages to save, a mexican standoff after a drug deal gone wrong. Something that would make me say, oh cool, you really are a cop. Just handcuffing people doesn’t do it enough for me to say I’m ready to be one bad ass undercover detective. So I’ll wait to see if they show off any more single player before making a hardline decision on Battlefield: Hardline.
