I’ve Got Robot Spiderlegs Thanks To Gear Up (PC)

With my newly found powers I’m not sure what to do first, head on over and kick the blue teams ass, laugh maniacly while I pace up and down a mountain or maybe contemplate the meaning of my life while counting the ridges on the craters I make. And that is just from having new legs, Lt. Dan style, there’s thosands of parts in Gear Up to customize my body with like turrets, propulsion, weapons and more.

Now the good bad with Gear Up is it’s got that weird that causing heart palapitations for most gamers in it, Free to Play. Gear Up doesn’t seem to have a bad Free to Play model, free, pay $4.99 for unlimited storage of parts and pay $9.99 for unlimited storage and access to all vehicle parts. That’s not the nickle and dime shananigans we are used to so sounds like a win to me.

There’s 16 player online deathmatch, team deathmatch and conquest modes. With 8 players per side in team games and all those robot parts that should lead to insane army combinations where you constantly build out bots to counter your enemies weakness only to have them do the same, rinse, repeat forever. What a great way to keep the battlefield an ever evolving source of unknown craziness. Gear Up is currently on Steam Early Access for PC, Mac and Linux be sure to check out the trailer to see the wonders of unlimited robot battles in action.
