Resistance 3 has gone gold, but to make it’s release date of September 6th there’s going to need to be a Day 1 Patch. Now personally, I am not a fan of the Day 1 Patch, just seems sloppy to me. However Insomniac eludes to the Day 1 Patch having tweaks from the Online Beta that should be out today for purchasers of SOCOM 4.
The new video is a gameplay trailer and they mention it bringing the series of trailers full circle.
Finally the bonus content jammed into that Resistance 3 blu-ray are demos for Killzone 3, MotorStorm Apocalypse 2D/3D and inFAMOUS 2. They also have developer diaries and trailers for upcoming Playstation 3 games along with some Music Videos for Ozzy Osbourne, Incubus, Foo Fighters and AC/DC. Interesting mix of content there, I’m glad to see someone using all that space!
